How does it fit?
Loose and roomy: the M already measures 96 cm at the waist and 116 cm at the hip, and the legs balloon out before they gather at the ankle. Please compare the waist and hip in the size chart with a pair of loose trousers you love. If you are between sizes, the smaller one usually works.
Is there a size S?
Not in this style: the factory cuts it from M upwards, and the M is already generous (hip 116 cm). If your loosest trousers measure well under that, Rosanne will sit very relaxed on you.
How long are the legs?
Ankle length: 109 cm on the M and L, 110 cm on the XL and 2XL, measured without the straps. The legs gather into a khaki cuff at the ankle, so there is nothing to roll up.
What do I wear underneath?
It is open at the sides, so it is made to go over a top: a white tee in summer, a long-sleeve top or a light knit when it cools down.
How do the straps fasten?
The khaki straps button onto the front of the bib with coloured buttons.
Does it stretch?
It is a soft, medium-weight washed denim, more than half cotton. The ease comes from the roomy cut rather than from stretch.
Are the pockets actually functional?
Yes: two large front pockets with khaki-trimmed openings and two back pockets, big enough for a phone and a set of keys.
How should I wash it?
Wash it on its own the first few times, cold and inside out, then line dry. That keeps the dark vintage wash and the khaki trim looking their best.
