How does it fit?
Loose and relaxed: the S already measures 104 cm around the chest and the dress falls straight from the shoulders, so it skims rather than clings. Compare the chest in the size chart with a loose dress you love. If you are between sizes, the smaller one usually works.
How long is it?
132 cm on the S up to 136 cm on the 2XL, measured from the shoulder. On a woman of about 165 cm it reaches the ankle. If you are petite it may brush the ground, so it looks lovely with a small wedge.
Does it stretch?
Not much. The room comes from the loose cut rather than from stretch, so it feels easy all day.
What is the hem like?
A wide white flounce edged in thin red, over a deeper ruffled tier in narrow red-and-white stripes. It swings beautifully as you walk.
What are the sleeves like?
Short sleeves that end above the elbow, edged in thin red. They are cut loose, so they cover the top of the arm without feeling tight.
Is it see-through?
It is white and lightweight, so nude underwear gives the smoothest look.
What do I wear with it?
Flat tan or white sandals and a straw tote for the markets, or a denim jacket when the evening cools down. Red earrings pick up the red edging.
How should I wash it?
Cold, gentle wash, then line dry in the shade. A cool iron if needed.
