How does it fit?
Fitted through the bodice and waist, then full and loose from the hip down. The S measures 88 cm at the bust and 72 cm at the waist, the 2XL 104 cm and 88 cm. Compare with a dress that fits you well at the bust and waist. If you are between sizes, take the larger one.
How long is it?
136 cm on the S up to 140 cm on the 2XL, measured from the shoulder. On most women it falls to the ankle.
Does it stretch?
Very little. It is a woven linen blend, not a jersey, which is why the bodice keeps its neat shape.
What are the straps like?
Wide shoulder straps and a straight square neckline, so most everyday bras stay covered.
Is the print embroidered?
No, the florals are printed onto the fabric, so the dress stays soft and light and washes easily.
Is it see-through?
No. The deep black ground keeps it opaque in normal daylight.
What do I wear with it?
Flat sandals for a long lunch, a gold heel or wedge for an evening out, and a light cardigan or denim jacket when it cools down.
How should I wash it?
Hand wash below 30°C, no bleach, then hang to dry. A warm iron while it is still slightly damp keeps the tiers crisp.
